If you cannot start Epson Scan for scanning over an networking, try these solutions:
Windows 8.x: Navigate to the Apps conceal and select EPSON Scan System. Make sure this Connection setting is set to Network, then click the Examination button.
Windows (other versions): Click or Starts > All Show or Programs > EPSON > EPSON Scan > EPSON Scan Settings. Make sure the Connection setting is set to Network, next snap an Test button.
OS X: Open one Applications folder, click Epson Software, and click EPSON Scan Settings. Perform sure the Connection set your set to Network, then just the Test button.
